Young Enterprise Scheme
The Young Enterprise team from Trident High School have established program called Bands ‘A’ Plenty. The Young Enterprise Scheme is a subject which is offered to Year 12 and 13 students. The aim is to create an idea, produce it and then market it to the public.
Our idea this year was anti-drug wristbands with the message “Keep It Clean” on them. This message encourages and reminds people to live a healthy lifestyle and keep off drugs. We came up with this idea as it is an on-going problem in Whakatane and New Zealand. We are aiming our bands at youth/teenagers as this is where the problem persists. By having “Keep it Clean” on the bands we feel that it is a constant reminder to keep off the drugs and to keep your system clean. The silicone orange bands also feature their hi-tech looking logo B A P representing their ‘Bands A Plenty’ concept.
