Trident High School challenges students to achieve excellence, develop a sense of self worth, and become motivated and responsible citizens. Welcome from the Board of Trustees and Principal of Trident High School. A warm welcome to Trident High School. This school has developed strong traditions and is recognized both locally and nationally for commitment to excellence and promoting personal best in academic, sporting and cultural achievement. We are committed to providing opportunities and helping every individual reach his or her potential.  From this comes achievement for all and the ability to approach the future with confidence.
Trident High School aims at developing students' responsibility and encouraging them to recognize the need for respect - both for themselves and others.  Our school ethos is based on

Quality Work and Respect for Others
A strong and active partnership exists between home and school and we assure you contact will be frequent.  We encourage parents to be involved and support their child's education.
Our staff are well qualified and offer quality learning experiences through exciting and innovative programmes that cater for students' needs and with the future in mind. We are proud of our extensive grounds and modern facilities.  Examples are the gymnasium with a sprung floor, a multi-purpose auditorium suitable for sport, assemblies and drama, the climbing wall, the Astroturf, the well-equipped library, the purpose built drama/music/art complex, a state-of-the art ICT complex and pods around the school allowing student access to the Internet.

An "open-door" policy operates - you are welcome and encouraged into the school at any time.                           Kia Manawa Nui
