Being involved in Gateway has helped us discover our strengths and weaknesses. We worked these out from being involved in work experience, studying units and listening to a collection of guest speakers. Through the combination of these three things we have learnt more about ourselves. As a result we now feel more confident, self motivated and aware.

This energy helps us to set our own goals. We have learned to break these goals down into smaller bits. Once the goal is in small chunks it is easier to achieve each goal in a step by step manner. Goal achievement leads us to finding our uniqueness and being empowered. Knowing our purpose in life, understanding our passions and feeling empowered helps to give us a strong sense of stability. From stability comes strength.  From strength comes success.
