Counselling:
Who is counselling for ?
Students and parents who want to talk to someone about a problem, or who want to make changes to some part of their life.

Who are the counsellors ?

Colin Hughes:

Has many years experience as a counsellor. He has an Honours degree in Educational Psychology, a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling and an Advanced Certificate in Counsellor Supervision. He is also a Member of NZ Association of Counsellors.

Tracey Hennessey:

Has been a fulltime counsellor for five years. Has a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling.

-What you tell us is confidential-
-Counselling is voluntary, students who are referred to us can
choose whether they will take the opportunity-
-We know different cultures, have different ideas about how
problems can be solved-
-We work within the guidelines of the Code of Ethics of the N.Z
Association of Counsellors-
-We can refer you to other counsellors and community agencies
if appropriate-
-Appointments can be made by contacting us directly at the

Careers Guidance Specialist

This service is run by Amy Wildash. Amy is an experienced Careers Advisor who works with students and their parents/caregivers to assist with career and future education decisions. The focus is educative rather than directive, within a holistic approach.
