We caught up with Hugh Oyanagi recently, before he headed off to university in Christchurch. Hugh is a talented pianist! He completed his music courses from Year 9 right through to NCEA Level 3 at Trident High School. In 2022 Hugh performed a music programme for Scholarship Music on Performance. He has also played piano and alto saxophone for the Trident Jazz Band for the past five years, resulting in multiple gold medals. Hugh was one of the school's prefects, and Dux for 2022. We wish Hugh all the very best for his future.
